Skyline Koala travel trailers and fifth wheels are built with superior structural integrity. Each model offers a durable, one-piece rubber roof, which provides a complete, watertight seal. A shake-simulator test is performed for 10 minutes to detect any problems before each model leaves the factory. All units are tested for 15 minutes in a high-pressure shower spray to guarantee that they are watertight.
Koala has all of the storage for your camping need. There is ample storage inside each travel trailer or fifth wheel, so you won't need to forget anything at home to enjoy your weekend away.
Each model offers a fully equipped kitchen, so fixing your favorite meals is not a problem while you are away from home. Founded in 1951 in Elkhart, Indiana, Skyline initially produced the affordable housing units popularly known as house trailers or mobile homes. These units evolved into today's manufactured housing. In 1960, Skyline opened its first travel trailer plant. During its 54-plus years of operation, Skyline has built more than 870,000 homes and 460,000 recreational vehicles (RV's), most of them travel trailers. Its sales over the years total in excess of $15 billion.
Skyline builds three types of towable RV's: conventional travel trailers, fifth wheel travel trailers, and park models. The principal brand names for these products are Nomad, Layton, Aljo, and Rampage. All Skyline RVs are UL Classified.
